Common questions

My NFC tap isn’t working

Hold the phone against the card for a second — don’t swipe. Android often needs NFC enabled in Settings. iPhone reads NFC from the camera / Control Center region on modern models. Still stuck? Card and Unlimited get priority email for first-tap setup.

How do I edit my card?

Sign in to Studio, update name / title / bio / links, then save. Changes go live on your named link and QR immediately. Unlimited includes an AI assistant that can draft copy you approve before save.

When does my physical card ship?

Pre-orders ship when the batch is ready — you’ll get email updates. Use Free digital (named link + QR) while you wait. Shipping addresses are collected at checkout.

Billing, renewals, and the bonus year

Card is $69/year and Unlimited $99/year. Pre-order includes your plan year plus one bonus year free (2 years total). You’ll see renewal reminders before the term ends.

QR code vs NFC — which should I use?

Both open the same digital card. QR works everywhere with a camera. NFC is the tap experience on the physical smart card (Card / Unlimited). Recipients never need an app.

How do I claim my username / named link?

At signup, pick an available handle — it becomes nimbus.bond/yourname. If a name is taken, try a short variant. Paid tiers don’t change the claim flow; they add hardware, support, and capacity.

What’s included in AI card assistant?

Unlimited includes Studio AI: rewrite bio, suggest coach-friendly links, tighten headlines. Every suggestion is a draft you approve before save. Free and Card see a locked upsell in Studio.
